Episode 1 — The Strange Metal Cave

Troll and Unicorn begin their journey toward the mysterious mountain —
and stumble into something very much not of their world.

Scene 1 — Journey Begins

TROLL
"Come on, Unicorn. We need to get moving if we're going to make it to that mountain before sunset."

UNICORN
"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming. But can we make a detour to that rainbow over there?
I heard there's a candy mountain at the end of it."

TROLL
"Dude. Rainbows are an illusion, produced by the refraction of light inside water droplets…"

They stumble upon a massive metal cave embedded in a vine-covered hill.
It is, in fact, a crashed spaceship.

TROLL
"This is actually a vessel of some kind… literally not of this world."

TROLL
"...a 'space ship.'"

UNICORN approaches a glowing ball suspended over a deep cavern.
He slips, kicks it in panic, and smashes the reactor core.

SHIP INTERCOM (CEREBRA – calm, gentle voice)
"Reactor breach. Countdown to destruction in T minus ten minutes.
Please move to minimal safe distance."

Unicorn accidentally activates a transporter pad and vanishes.

CEREBRA
"T minus five minutes until critical reactor breach.
Please move to a minimal safe distance."

Unicorn finds himself in a gym-like room filled with robotic dinosaurs
and giant bananas with robot legs.

Troll reunites with Unicorn and encounters two children.

SUSIE & TIMMY
"Who are you guys?"

SUSIE
"We arrived here on this ship. Mum said we could play before dinner."

TIMMY
"I'm hungry."

CEREBRA
"T minus ten seconds until critical reactor breach."

They pile onto the transporter platform.

5… 4… 3… 2…

White light.

Elsewhere, a mysterious figure manipulates a wormhole display.

SCREEN
"REDIRECTED MATTER STREAM SUCCESSFUL"

A logo glows: a wormhole, a dinosaur skull, and the name PALEOTECH.

MYSTERIOUS FIGURE
"Paleotech is as good as mine now. Easy money."
