The art of Troll and Unicorn is by a fantastic fellow called Sebastian, who I found on a company called Fiverr.com.
I think he has really nailed the characters don’t you!

Each week, he has been able to interpret the script by starting with sketches, which I give feedback on, then he does a tidier black and white version, then he colors it in.

One of the things that I am really hoping of is to be able to pay for the entire season of Troll and Unicorn by launching a Kickstarter. I’m really hoping I can get some fans who would be willing to help to crowd fund this comic. Eventually we can get this on Amazon or Netflix as a cartoon! Oh and because I am a computer programmer, I will definitely be making this into a video game!

Sebastian here says that he can create some character sheets of the main characters face on, with their arms and legs spread, and side on views with some poses. With those, I will be able to rig some computer models and turn Troll, Unicorn, Timmy and Susie into video game characters!

If you have any ideas for that, I’d love to hear from you in the comments below or in our Facebook, Instagram or twitter pages. To comment, you need to sign up to the website here. It’s free and you get access to all the episodes as we develop them. I’ll also be sending out a newsletter with exclusive offers for stuff (merch and things).

Troll and Unicorn Season 1, Episode 1, page 6 black and white panel completed.

I just want to say here that love how Sebastian has created animations of his process for 2 of the pages of episode 1 so far. It’s fascinating to watch! (By the way, we are up to page 6 as of this blog post)

I’ll put the animation that he did for episode 6 here on our YouTube channel as well. Right now, there’s just one video there with some fun, royalty free music! 🙂
