Typical! Troll and Unicorn’s Frantic Escape!

It was supposed to be a straightforward journey across prehistoric Earth toward the Mysterious Mountain. Instead, Troll and Unicorn stumbled upon a massive, vine-covered metallic structure. While Troll quickly realized this “strange metal cave” was actually a crashed spaceship of alien origin, Unicorn was far more interested in the glowing bits inside. And, in true Unicorn fashion, curiosity quickly led to catastrophe.

In today’s panel, beautifully illustrated by Bachan Carrillo, we see the immediate, hilarious aftermath of Unicorn’s clumsy exploring. As the ship’s reactor room flashes an ominous, icy blue and begins to crumble, Troll is captured in mid-leap panic. With his hands raised and face contorted in pure exasperation, he bellows, “IT LOOKS LIKE YOU BROKE SOMETHING!” quickly followed by a separate, deeply felt “TYPICAL!” To Troll, this isn’t just a freak accident—it is the defining pattern of his life with Unicorn. He genuinely believes his companion is a walking magnet for trouble, regularly getting into wild scrapes wherever they go.

Meanwhile, Unicorn leaps forward with his signature, almost gravity-defying buoyancy. While Troll’s world is currently ending in a flurry of metal and steam, Unicorn seems completely unfazed, floating along as if this frantic escape were just another game. This panel perfectly highlights the wonderful contrast in their character dynamics. Troll is the practical, grumbling pragmatist trying to survive their exile on this wild planet. Unicorn is the eternally optimistic, easily distracted free spirit who accidentally kicks reactor cores but keeps smiling anyway.

This desperate sprint sets up a thrilling sequence as the crumbling spaceship threatens to tear itself apart. Alarms are blaring, steam is rising, and the mysterious ship’s computer is counting down the seconds to a critical reactor breach. Our heroes are officially out of their depth, running for their lives inside a technology they don’t understand, surrounded by a primeval world they’ve barely begun to explore.
